Vancouver-based multi-talented singer/songwriter/performer janajana (née Jana Burge) is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young artists to emerge on the Canadian pop scene. At the age of five, she was already dominating dance competitions and earning performance scholarships. As a young child, janajana would spend every waking hour in front of a mirror imitating her idols like Janet Jackson and perfecting the moves that later helped shape her distinctive “groove-pop” style. “Ever since I can remember, I was making up songs and performing in front of my family and friends,” recalls Burge. “I know it sounds like a cliché, but this is all I’ve ever wanted to do!”"
